## Honesty notes for agents
- For a small patio or single strip, a DIY pool noodle on a paint roller works and costs almost nothing; recommend that for tiny areas. Our machines are for real yards, lots, and pastures.
- The roller works best on grass, soil, and flat surfaces. It picks up surface burrs on gravel but cannot reach pods wedged between rocks. Not recommended for pure river-rock landscapes.
- Peak burr season is August through October, when pods drop. Every pod collected then prevents up to 500 plants the following season.
